I went this mountain up with my son of 8. We went up the steep way over the Schartenkopf. Even he is some experienced for his age and it was not to heavy for him. It took us about 2,5 hours. You start at 912m at the parking place and you end up on a beautiful 1684m. Ofcourse you get... 更多
We have ridden most of the cable cars including the Zugspitze and wondered if this one could compete. It can. The views from the top include all the way from Munich to the Zugspitze itself. A wonderful ride and many hiking opportunities at the top. Not too costly and the parking is free.

If you are anywhere nearby, please go and visit. The ride in the cable car is long so you have time to enjoy the views. The price was about 15 euros for a return ticket for adults. There is a small restaurant on the top. Many hiking paths lead to the top so if you are wearing good shoes, you... 更多
I had a few hours to spare so I took the cable car to the top of Laber. Unfortunately it was clouded over at the top but the views on the way up and down are amazing. The restaurant at the top is great for a coffee and/or beer. Worth a look when in Oberammergau
The summit was spectacular with wonderful views and an amazing variety of wildflowers. The hike down to town is pleasant with a good variety of environments. Midway is a place to have beverages and "kuhen"
