This former holiday home of the Rothschild family is a great place to get away from the maddening crowds. Serene and cool, you can get on with you work except when the kids from the local school decide to hold impromptu discos on the steps. There seems to be no authority there to deal with them.
Although now a library, this cilla is absolutely stunning and qorth a look to see what an authentic villa of the era actually feels like.
It is also a nice place to go and read or study on a wet day when not much else is going on.
