We had seen the pictures on tripadvisor so made our way to the area with the ski boot building. It is worth going to see if only for the lovely shopping centre close by.
Small, purpose equipped bus with good visibility, video and audio in several languages plus a friendly and helpful driver. Takes about 50 minutes and focuses on Old Lille - how he gets down some of the narrow streets amazes me.... Goes from and returns to the tourist office from where you buy the tickets.
A very good one hour tour of the city in a purpose built coach with a knowledgeable and multilingual driver. With a commentary in most European languages and setting off every hour on the hour from the tourist information office a useful trip to get your bearings in the city. This is free with the Lille pass which also includes... 更多
Three of us went on the tour hoping to learn a little more, and find something else to visit that we hadn't already. We didn't. The tour is about 40 minutes long and takes you all around the city. If you have already explored some of the city, you really won't learn anything new. Save your money and walk around... 更多
Take a city tour from the Tourist office. Very interesting and lots to see. This is value for money. Excellent explication. No hop on hop, off, but much better
We got a great deal on Thalys for a round-trip train ride from Amsterdam to Lille, Europe. Yes, it is in France, but they call themselves Lille Europe. Birthplace of Charles deGaulle . This city was a big industrial city years ago but now the city is trying to attract conventions and meetings. A nice mix of new and old... 更多
We felt that this tour was good value for money, gave us a bearing of the city, so we could go back and see the parts we thought were interesting. Tickets available from inside the Tourist information centre.
Having been on other bus tours in other cities I found this tour somewhat disappointing. Tickets are €12 and the tour lasts approx 50 minutes, often doubling back to pass different buildings. Having walked much of the old town and other areas of the city, the bus tour was quite disappointing, as I saw very little, if anything, that I... 更多
Starts at the Tourist Info. A good way to get a first impression of the city and to decide what to go back and visit. Disappointed not to go to the Citadel and Euralille areas to see the contrasts af architecture. Discounts for groups of 4 or more.
