I was here in July during a weekend trip to Lille. I think the museum is well worth a visit as is displays one of the largest art collection outside Paris. The collection is quite eclectic, with paintings from various time periods (some Manet, Monet also there), sculptures, etc.
Really enjoyed our visit to this art gallery. We arrived lunchtime on a Sunday, and walked straight in, which worked out to be good timing, as by 3pm, the queue went around the outside of the building. Was thrilled to see Monet, Rodin, Rubens, Manet and many other Masters. Well worth a visit.
We visited the Palais on the weekend of the Festival, although it is usually free on the first Sunday of the month, September is generally an exception because of the Festival. But because the Braderie had been cancelled it was free as usual. It tries to attract by mentioning it has paintings by Monet, Goya, Picasso and so on but... 更多
A lovely place to immerse yourself in art and culture in Lille really enjoyed my visit. Cafe on site although did not offer a great selection, the building itself is lovely and I found the map room very interesting.
lille has the second biggest art collection in france after the pompidou centre in paris. its very reachable in the centre of the city with a metroline nearby

There was no rebate even though all of us could not have an audio as they were charging. There are no English subtitles and I... 更多
I visited on the first Sunday of the month, when this museum is free for everyone, so I can't speak as to its value had I paid full price. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed this museum. Though it is small compared to the museums of, say, Paris, I felt that people had gone to great lengths to make sure... 更多
The 'Beaux-Arts' exhibits are, in general, less than special although there are a few gems. I don't need to highlight them - they will shout at you! The whole visit took us around three hours but a sizeable chunk of that time was spent watching the creation (as live animation) of cartoons by Zep, many of which were really funny.... 更多
We visited the museum on a weekday and all enjoyed the experience, kids and adults! There is a little bit for everyone here- from Old World Masters to Modern Contemporary. Northern France is known for their earthenware, and there is an incredible display room with endless patterns for you appreciate. The inside center of the museum is open and perfect... 更多
