Don't be put off by the short walk from the old town - it's well worth it. The great vaulted brick ramp which leads you up to the great court in front of the Palace gives some sense of the majesty of the whole. This well-preserved palace is great to wander around. The view from the top of the palace overlook the whole of Perpignan and the outstretched valley. A fascinating place with a glimpse of the past.
Lovely medieval palace with great views over the city of Perpignan and the Pyrenees Mountains. Kings at that time liked to build their palaces on top of hills and Les Rois de Majorque were no exception so be prepared for a steep walk to get there, but it's worth it
this is an impressive structure . looks like a mini Vatican from the outside..!
