We had a history lesson on the area and the wines that are made. Justine Hairon, our guide was very informative. The Castle, which is the cellar was incredible and is steeped in history. The wines are really good and we tasted 4 Chardonnay's and 4 Pinot Noir's. A great 90 minutes, well worth the price!
What a rip off this tour was. The woman spoke very rapidly in a heavy French accent so it was extremely difficult to understand her. She just recited facts and figures. No telling of stories about the family, the history, nothing to make this winery with its long history come alive. We had a small group and she never asked... 更多
You can do better by skipping this tour. Our guide was very "textbook" and felt as though reciting a script. There is a difference with guides that are passionate about the history and winemaking process vs someone that seems to be just working at a job. Maybe part of this has to do with what feels like more of a... 更多
Although my favourite wine-tasting experiences in Burgundy have typically been those led by the vigneron, in his or her cellar, where English is halting and the focus is entirely on the wine, I did quite enjoy the completely different experience we had at Bouchard Pere. We sampled some of their top wines (and paid €50 a pop for the privilege),... 更多
We asked around town and all the locals would not recommend a winery in town for a tasting. They are all to touristy they said. When pushed we finally got our lovely and knowledgeable bartender at La dilettante to recommend one: Bouchard Pere &Fils! As I really wanted to buy some wines to bring home we headed to this winery... 更多
Due to complications out of our control (tour guide and agenda was not right) we were 30 mins late. We received a phone call from the staffer who was running the tour/tasting and she was extremely rude and said she didn't want to waste her time so if you're not here in 5 don't bother. We had already pre-paid and... 更多
An amazing cellar within an historical fortification from the wall city I had the luck to have a tailor made personalized tour and tasting it was very interesting all information were very well explained We tasted 13 bottles and would have enjoy more if i didn't have to drive to Dijon you have to see this winery when you pass... 更多
This large winery is a wonderful place to tour the old cellars (especially the Private Collection) and visiting the Winery itself, as well as Maison Henriot. We were fortunate to have arranged a private tour and were not disappointed. Some 1.2 million bottles of wine in the cellar. The best part of course was the tasting in the old tasting... 更多
Ok, maybe if you know nothing about Burgundy wines this may be interesting. The tour was really limited to a brief historical review, and then looking at old bottles of wine. At the tasting, most of the wines were pedestrian, and only a couple 1er cru. All in all, not a good value for 20 euro @. Disappointing.
