Markets are closed in France on Sunday so the shopping has to be done on Saturday. This one has all the sights and smells of a French fresh food market but there were hardly any locals in sight. Just food operators trying to entice a few unwitting tourists into their eatery. It’s right next to Little Venice. Take a minute... 更多
But good for a diy if on a low budget. They sell cheese, bread and some other ingredients for a quick bite. There is also a couple of restaurants that sell quality food for a low price. We had the quiche and some chocolate cake which were delicious.

This marked is small, there is not much to look at or to taste. Our lunch mission was abandoned. I'm sure it works for the local shoppers, but it is not a tourist attraction.
I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this marché. It is somewhat small but you want to buy good honey you could certainly find it there. I read reviews about stopping there for lunch but when the weather is nice and you have all these cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating and beautiful views why would you go... 更多
Colmar's old town and little Venice need a lot of walking. After 2 hours of city sights we needed a place to stop and have some coffee and snacks. Marche Couvert was the perfect place. It was built in 1865 as a market by the water way and the farmers brought the merchandise in by boats. As from 2010 it... 更多
