What a shame that the work done a few years ago to improve the gardens has gone to waste. This should be an attractive public space but has become a scruffy transport interchange only. Ok for a bit of people watching but not much to recommend a visit.
This was a great wee square to watch the old go by on when it's sunny. Really central to Manchester and near all the must see areas. Take some time out for people watching.
It's a nice place to sit and have lunch, especially in summer - however through the years it's become old and worn. The fountains haven't been fixed for years and it's generally become grey and bland. We need flowers and bushes!
In the dark days of the sunken splendour of the old Piccadilly Gardens it was accepted the place was grim and in need of a face-lift. If only we could go back. Forget the M1 Berliner Mauer that houses rice and focus on how one of town's few green spaces has modelled itself on Hamsterdam in Baltimore and The Sails... 更多
All looks fine on an superficial basis. However, there are issues. There are a lot of tramps around and the council need to do something about this - I have no issue with the tramps but they need to be given somewhere to go to. We stay at Abode near Piccadilly and walk through here a lot so we do... 更多
Took my kids twice over the school hols...they lived the small park, there is always something going on from soft drink roadshows to teenagers running events. Slightly disappointed that the fountains are no longer there..but there is still plenty to entertain youngsters
Absolutely love Piccadilly Gardens! Whenever I am in town I grab a takeaway coffee and lunch from one of many nearby eateries and I go people watch.
