We loved this show and venue. Easy access. Comfy seats. Helpful staff. My wife had mobility issues and they helped us to lift. More legroom than average. Went to the octagon on Friday night 2dec.to watch Cinderella with my daughter in law and her mother. It was the worst panto I have ever seen in my life. Costumes awful. Could hardly tell what they were saying.. I wouldn't advise anyone to waste their time and money.. Seen better at infant school
Never seen a bad play at the Octagon. Superb acting, brilliant set designs and some outstanding directors. The compact design means that you are never far from the action. This has to be the best theatre in the country, probably the world.
Not a large venue but very welcoming , bar upstairs and cafe downstairs staff very friendly and helpful, have visited on several occasions and have always had an enjoyable time
I've been to the Octagon numerous times. There Christmas productions are particularly special! It's a very involved experience for a theatre. The actors often come out into the audience. You feel really connected to the performance, every show I have seen has been fab!
