We love visiting Ripon and the Cathedral is a must for a visit. It is free to go inside and a voluntary donation is requested. There is an information sheet you can carry around so you don't miss the important things and a visit to the crypt is a must if you can manage the steep steps. There is so... 更多

We parked in the town centre carpark and followed the signs for the short walk to the Cathedral. We were totally unprepared for the view as we came round the corner of a high old wall and had our first glimpse of thd Cathedral. We were simply dumbstruck. Lovely cathedral. Spend some time to admire the stianed glass windows There was an art exhibition taking place when we visited with paintings for sale. Some great work on display.
Cathedral a gem in a very small place that I would not visit again as there is very little apart from small shops in a small town centre
Visited for an Art exhibition. Lots of space and very well presented A modern feel to an outstanding old building Religious but not over powering and is a great venue for other activity Free admission and well worth a visit Good library area
Amazing place Site of Christian worship since 7th century and time of St Wilfred. Very welcoming guides. Shop. No admission fee but boxes for voluntary donations.
