Glencar Louch is serene and beautiful, a place to unwind. The surrounding scenery takes your breath away. The waterfall it self is a waterfall, nothing to write home about but all in all, worth a visit
Stunning scenery. Make sure you visit the waterfall in the pretty park on the shores of the lake. There is a good car park, toilets and a cafe. Further along the road is another waterfall, The Devil's Chimney but water only flows here after heavy rain. Don't make the steep climb unless you can see water flowing from the road.
Have been here several times and it never fails to be breathtaking. The views over the lake from the many walks along Benbulben's side are fantastic. A nice waterfall too.......especially as it rains a lot in Leitrim/Sligo.
