The museum serves best as an introduction to the historic sights of Kilmallock, all within walking distance. These historic sites include a 13th century Collegiate Church with a round tower, a 13th century Dominican Abbey, and the medieval Blossom town gate. This is an impressive example of historic preservation just 10 kilometres from the N20 Limerick- Cork Road.
If you are in to the local history of this town is very good or to spend half hour if you are here but i would not go here just to come here. It free to enter it only one room full of the town history.
