Spent 3 days at Adare in between RWC matches last year and it was an excellent stay - impressive rooms, attentive service and fine dining. We will certainly revist
I would love to give this an excellent rating and should but one thing prevents it---our first night's stay. I booked our two nights (celebrating a birthday and anniversary) through Expedia and apparently the fine writing states that they can't guarantee your room. I'd booked a King room. We bought a guide tour to this castle on 19.09.2015. The guide told very interesting facts about this castle. I still remenbmer a number of stories about people live in the middle ages. I would recommend this guide tour.
Because we were not staying there we could only do a drive through but it looks amazing from the outside and the grounds were pristine. It is on our list for next time!!

If you're in Adare, this is a MUST SEE! Beautiful, extraordinary, and fascinating castle! There's so much more than meets the eye from the outside! When you enter there's rooms, wings to hidden places, stairs, etc! Our tour guide from the heritage center was super knowledgable and intelligent! Highly recommend!
