After reading reviews and hearing about the beauty of these woods. So a few days ago I tried to go but unfortunately the access to the trail passes through a landowner's property and they have closed the right of way. Very disappointing.
This is a primordial experience, an ancient indigenous woodland setting in an amazing landscape, a good long walk with the added bonus of O Sullivan's falls to visit in the middle of it.
The walk is said to be beautiful. However, the first few hundred meters lead you through private property (just a stony road passing two houses). You really need a guide for the latter as there is man-eating rhodadendron as barrier to the surviving tracks. There can also be landowner problems, so check out the current situation before going!... 更多
