This well worth a visit for someone who is able to walk. I think couple of more sign posts along the way would be excellent. My two kids are dog mad and we nearly missed the irish wolfhouds. They should be centre stage. Also we were told there would be bus going around. We never saw the bus once. Also... 更多
My husband and I and our three young kids spent a very enjoyable morning in MuckRoss Farms. The staff are friendly. The cottages are nicely spaced out and there's a bouncy castle and playground along the way to keep smaller kids entertained. New born piglets, foals and puppies are another attraction. The bus service is excellent for when little legs... 更多
Visited today with husband and two children under 6. Had a fantastic day, staff were lovely beginning with the shop where we purchased the tickets, the ladies in the houses, they all took the time for a chat and a bit of history. Very well laid out. Beautiful scenery along the way. Will definitely return. Thank you.
We were 3 generations going round the farms - 65+, 30+ and 2 & 4. There is something there for everyone - see how the people of the land used to live before electricity supply and modern conveniences, see farm animals (including young), bouncy castle and playground for the children too, ride the horse drawn cart, catch the bus if... 更多
At first I thought it was a bit of a rip off paying nearly €10 into a farm. However, it takes a good few hours to walk around and it is not just a farm. It's a whole village. They have all the old houses that use to run the farms, you get an insight of how they use to... 更多
We stopped here on a whim while ini the area. It was a really good experience for the whole family. Don't be lazy though and take the bus...actually walk it...it will give you a good walk as well as immerse you more in the area. Our kids especially loved the baby animals. They got to even hold a puppy and... 更多
the farm is a great place to visit for young and old. plenty to see as the bus drops you off and you can walk around and chat to the people on the farms.a good half day spent walking around.
Quills's Farmhouse presents a great representation of farm life from the early 1900's. We ate in the small dinning room and had a cozy dinner. We were entertained by 2 lovely ladies with a squeeze box and guitar, singing Irish melodies. I loved their chatter and stories. We joined the rest of our group in the large dinning room for... 更多
had a lovely time. there is a good bit of walking but the kids really enjoyed it . got to see some lovely views and we learned some history as well.
Adults and children enjoyed this view of farm life. The farms were well done and very accessible for all ages and were spaced well apart so we got exercise as well as education. One point they might consider--it was very odd to have a bounce house at one stop amid really natural beauty and outdoors time. It was very out... 更多
