My first time 'at the races' and booked the restaurant experience..!!..After hearing of possible traffic problems we did not have any at all....We were very well looked after...the food was lovely...staff were organised and efficient...and the view of the race and finishing post was excellent...thoroughly enjoyed it..!!!
I have attended race meets in Punchestown, Leopardstown and Fairy House. Galway blows them all out of the water. It is an excellent race course with world class facilities. The most impressive aspect is that while it is an extremely efficient tourism machine, the staff have not lost any of that Galwegian charm. This may become an annual visit.
Top class facilities and ideal for a great day out.The Galway Race week is famous for its atmosphere and tremendous selection of different entertainment namely Live music,Ladies Day competitions which attract an amazing array of fashions and colours and local food is available in the many resteraunts.All in all a wonderful time was had by all.
Excellent facilities with a great range of cafes, snack bars, bars, restaurants and so forth. Plenty of excietment with the horses and racing too. I had no clue it would be so packed! It was nice to see everyone dressed in their finest, but not so many people were kind. The Galway races is a must to anyone in Galway the last week in July. There is a super atmosphere at the Galway races. It's a great fun day out for all the family.
Clean, Full of people , fashion ,horses and punters . Windy as it is on a hill. Can feel the Excitement as you enter the Course. If you never betted you would still have a fabulous day x
