Well worth a visit, very interesting small museum situated in the very heart of medieval Ennis. Easy access whether walking or driving.
Very interesting and well worth a visit. Covers many aspects if Irish and also Clare history. Closed Mondays at the moment - not sure if it opens on this day during the Summer
I enjoyed this charming museum that is easily reached by foot in the great walking town of Ennis. I especially enjoyed the exhibit about water and holy wells, and also enjoyed seeing artifacts about fishing and the port. The museum is free. Be aware that it is closed for lunch. An Ennis information center is located on the ground floor.... 更多
It's centrally located and entrance is free. The information center is located on the same ground floor. There are lovely artifacts, stones and interactive displays with voice or music. Be sure to go up to the second story as you might overlook it--stairs or elevator. The guards are super friendly and interested in their visitors.
Wonderful museum, right downtown. History specific to the County Clare regions. Free to enter (closed on Mondays). Nice modern presentation of the history of the area,.
As we were staying in Ennis, we thought we should visit and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The exhibitions were really interesting and well presented, As a bonus it was free to enter but I would gladly have paid
Very interesting material and displays about Ennis town and Clare county. What's more, it's all free, no charge. Located in town centre, on Arthur's Row lane, just off O'Connell Square
