The Kamokila Hawaiian Village is an authentically recreated Hawaiian Village depicting life in the islands from generations past. The tour is self guided and easy to walk. The admission fee is $5, but free if you rent a boat for the day. The boat rental is $35 per person for the day, the boats (canoes and kayaks) are in great... 更多
We had a great time on the river and the hike to the secret falls. The falls were spectacular as you could swim and get under the falls all amongst pretty scenery. The hike is not only muddy but quite slippery. We did the hike without a guide but realize that some key turns / trails are not marked so... 更多
We picked this place because of the shorter kayaking distance to the hike for the "Secret Waterfall" The service was kinda meh. The guy seemed annoyed we were there. He seemed to say "Go/don't go, just hurry and make up your mind so I can get back to what I want to do" He was very matter of fact concerning... 更多
Set in beautiful surroundings the Kamokila Hawaiian Village was a very pleasant surprise. If your interested in the history of the Hawaiian people and how they lived this is a great place for the family to visit. Our guide Ilima was very friendly and informative.
We rented kayaks here for our family of 6 (4 kids ages 6, 8, 11 and 13) and went to the secret falls, fern grotto and the swimming hole. We spent the entire day kayaking and hiking. We had an absolute blast. It was raining and muddy when we went but it really didn't put a damper on our excursion... 更多
Aloha! People come to Hawaii from all over the world. So many of them miss the true meaning of this land. The Kamokila Village family are stewards of the Hawaiian culture. The grounds are beautiful, filled with ancient relics, native and non native trees, gorgeous surroundings and a guide to explain what you are looking at. Ben, Dan, Kihei and... 更多
If you want a great kayak experience, this is the place. Our family does this excursion every time we visit Kauai and definitely recommend. This is the best place to launch a kayak for hikes and waterfalls. It's a self-guided tour. The crew gives you a map, a water proof bag to hold cameras, etc and tells you about the... 更多
When we arrived an employee was giving a speech to some other visitors about where to go and where not to go. It was a confusing and convoluted speech. I think the employee could have slowed down and explained things a LOT better. We paid for the kayak rentals and THEN were told they had no kayaks. They offered canoes... 更多
The Kayaks we rented there were in kind of bad condition but the employees were helpful. We had to postpone our excursion by a couple of days and they were totally cool with it and held us a "reservation." Very easy going staff.
