relatively new destillery with a bourbon cask and a sherry oak version. one already a whisky, the other still a spirit but very tasty nevertheless. Even smaller than Edradour neur Pitlochry. Short but informative guide tour, good stories, sufficient info to understand the process and the regional particulars. samples of both main products at the end of the tour. The... 更多
This distillery is beyond Aird Uig and is difficult to find as planners have not allowed them to put up signs. It is very much a traditional hand made approach to whisky. The tour is very brief because the distillery is very small. The only whisky available is 5 year old with 10 year old due in 2018. The taste... 更多
It was our first destillery, that we visited in Scotland. We had a very private tour (just the two of us). I can't remember the price, either 5 or 8£, but totally worth it. The destillery is very small, but they to everything from malting to storing the casks themselves. It was very interesting to see the whole process (there... 更多
Recently of a trip to the Outer Hebrides we decided to visit this amazing little "one man" distillery. As a liver of the single malt this was a must for us both. And since we have a huge passion for Malts, of course we went there. Funny little and compared to other Stills in Scotland, rather primitive in all it's virginity. But interesting... 更多
Look out for the wooden chess piece statues in the car park otherwise you will miss this hidden gem of a distillery. Despite it's small size, the tour was excellent and one of only a few which actually allows children of any age. Will be back to sample the 10yo in 2018!!
We were staying just up the road so visited to buy some whisky. We had a nice welcome loved this Whisky. In fact the whole bottle is gone!!!!!
