Excellent tour. Only the 2 of us taking it so it turned into a private tour. Thanks to Andy for making it interesting and fun. Combined with a visit to the football museum there as well it turned out to be a very interesting morning. Even the other half enjoyed it!!
Visited this stadium a few times to watch the National side and follow my Club side whenever they play a match here. First of all, I would like to say the transport links from the city center to Hampden are not too bad with frequent trains to Mount Florida from Glasgow Central and plenty of buses too, and return tickets... 更多
I believe that the best way to get to Hampden Park is by train. Go to Glasgow central Station and find a train that stops at Mount Florida, as it is only a 5 minute walk to the ground. The journey on the train lasts approx. 10 mins and costs £2.10 for a single ticket.
The museum and stadium tour are 10/10 but the stadium is dreadful, have attended many Scotland football internationals, food and drink prices are obscene, seats too far from pitch, poor poor stadium.
The stadium itself is fine. Nothing special, good cheap food, generally clean and staff are polite and friendly. But I tell you - when they talk about the "Hampden Roar", they aren't kidding you!
