Walked all the way to Out Head and the Local Nature Reserve. Fantastic walk to reserve, saw lot of birds, Skylarks etc. Lovely viewing platform and interp panel. My kids absolutely loved this beach. They spent a long time digging into the sand. It was windy, cold and sunny all at the same time. The rain did hold of which is great. Kids had fun and we enjoyed a good outing on the beach as a family and managed to pick up loads of shells.
We walked from the car park alongside the golf links to the viewing platform, then walked back along the sands. A lovely sandy beach, with great views of the town in the distance. The only drawback was the lack of facilities - the toilets were closed, which seemed very unfair given the large number of walkers, joggers and tourists visiting... 更多
