The waitress refused to take our food order instructing us to order at the bar. When we went to order at the bar, they refused to take the order because we did not report our table number. A very solid traditional pub with sports TV and lots of different spaces in its rambling premises, but clearly targeting the tourist trade with beer prices that matched some of those in the 4* George Hotel. I had to search out their price list to check the staff were not being 'creative'!
Called in here today while waiting for our Coach to pick us up and to rest our tired feet. Walked in to Restaurant. No one serving or advising where to sit. Paid 14.99 for Sunday Roast and had to have dinner when I went home. Not very Much. Food very Bland.Sorry Guys dont really ever leave negative reviews but there are definatelly better value for Money places in the town.
