Wow! What a fantastic place. Everything you want to know about Robert Burns. Over 2 floors filled with information and some original work. Very much enjoyed my afternoon there. Nice cafe inside with fresh coffee. Friendly staff too.
From the other side of the river the centre looks. Very large and I was expecting a big museum. In reality there is only one small room up a very steep staircase.A few artefacts and documents to read. The exhibition is free however which is unusual these days and we were happy about that. A small gift shop with some Burns... 更多

Very good and very informative R.Burns centre. Should be your first port of call before doing the Burns trail through the town. Friendly staff, an hour spent gathering info and a very good coffee at the cafe on site.
Very informative and well presented story of Rabbie Burns life and legacy. Interactive materials to keep children interested. Staff on reception were very pleasant and friendly. Lovely building.
The history of Burns in and around Dumfries, well illustrated by original documentation,is very interesting. The centre also serves as the local cinema. Look out for listings in the Tourist Information Office, local press or the Centre itself.
Small but interesting museum on the other side of the river from the town and quite hard to find. Free to enter (donations box by exit) and it would be easy to spend an hour or two looking at everything. His life was very interesting and it is all to see in a user friendly way. Would recommend.
Small museum celebrating Burns. Looking at everything will take no longer than one hour. Admission is free. Staff are on hand to answer any questions.
