This is defiantly a must visit in May with a spectacular display of azaleas and rhododendrons. Take a few hours to enjoy the peace and beauty as well as walking to the viewpoint.
This is such a lovely and tranquil place to visit. Do not rush past, or you will mis a real treasure. Even if the centre seems closed in the depths of winter, there are printed guides and you can wander up the wonderful walkways, alongside the stream and up to the woods. Just lovely!
We thoroughly enjoyed wandering around this garden even on an overcast January day. Beautifully landscaped. Must be really wonderful when rhododendrons are in bloom - May is the best month apparently.
NTS garden with lots of varieties of plants, shrubs and trees. Waterfall and water centric we always enjoy our visits here. Cafe now established so pay them a visit!

Only a short visit for us, but there were several suggested trails ranging from 20 minutes to an hour. And you could combine these or make your own way. We took the 30 minute Himalayan trail which offered peaceful views up over the valley (though not of Loch Fyne) over bridges and by streams. Generally a green garden in August... 更多
