Royal Aberdeen was the fourth and final course we played during our week in Scotland (North Berwick, The Old Course and The Jubilee came before us). The weather was beyond bad when we arrived - raining sideways, serious winds - in other words, nothing out of the ordinary. We had some time before our tee time, so my friend and... 更多
Course is in great shape but is living on its name. Very snobbish! Was not made to feel welcome. Definitely a members club. There are better links courses in the area and much cheaper and friendlier.
Royal Aberdeen is the quintessential Scottish Links golf course, which is what you'd expect from the 5th oldest golf course in the world. As good as any of the St. Andrews courses. A great test of golf, but fair. Excellent service and conditions. HIGHLY recommended!
An amazing links course, a must play if you are in the Aberdeen area. The front nine are quite a test. Narrow fairways, humps that feed the ball off the fairways and strong winds. Nicely set along the bay of Aberdeen. Course is in a top shape. Rather pricey, if you compare to Murcar which is just next door you... 更多

I took a caddie (recommended) and took out on the course after a quick warmup. The quality of the finish on the... 更多
There is no doubt that the hype surrounding this course is worthwhile - the first nine are up there with the best links I've played. It's challenging but playable if you keep the ball on the straight and narrow. The problem is that its magnificence is no secret. Four ball follow four ball often with caddies and this can lead... 更多
Played at Royal Aberdeen on Friday. Course in top condition with probably the best outward nine holes in links golf. Fantastic facilities. A must play
A top notch golf course. By far the best course in the NE of Scotland, including the new Trump one at Menie, which is not in the same league. Compares very favourably with St George's at Sandwich. A great challenge.
It'd been quite a while since my last visit, but with my memory refreshed, the front nine IS one of the best front nines in links golf. Only by comparison does the back nine suffer - it's still darn good. Royal Aberdeen is a must for any golf trip to northern Scotland! M
