Spent a fantastic lovely day at the centre. My wife uses an electric wheel chair but don't worry its fine. There is a blocked road at the moment but depending on what direction your coming there is another entrance. There was only one other couple there so we got very close to the birds. John was so knowledgeable and you... 更多
Got my husband a tuition session as a present & I went along to see the displays. We had a great time & my husband was thrilled to handle so many types of raptor. Well worth the entrance fee for a visit & the tuition was first class too & well worth the money.
I cannot recommend the north east falconry centre to anyone who likes animals. The birds are kept on a very short leash and frightened baby birds are forced to be pet by kids. That is not the way I expect animals to be treated. If you want to see owls and falcons better catch a show at the Dunrobin Castle... 更多
Drove up to here from Aberdeen. Cost £20.50 to get in for 2 adults and 1 child. The centre is pretty big but for visitors you only get to see a little of it. Plenty of birds to see as you walk around and some amazing impressive birds. You have to see a show when you go otherwise you won't... 更多
The trainer was excellent. The kids enjoyed so much the exhibition. I highly recommend it. There are different kind of birds all of them nicely trained and in excellent conditions.
We went there as a family to experience falconry up close. There are different programs available from 3 hour in depth coaching and learning about the different types of birds, etc... and then they also have a quick introduction to falconry. Our oldest son did the 3 hour course and we did the introduction. Lot of fun to experience and... 更多
The North East Falconry Centre is a great place to visit either as a couple, with a family or even on your own. You pay an entrance fee which goes towards the upkeep of the birds of prey at the centre. There are display's which you can get involved in, for example having a Falcon land on your gloved hand... 更多
I was here with my family on a Sunday, expecting the place to be hopping as the holiday season in Scotland has started. Instead we had the place almost ourselves, and were lucky enough to hold a couple of the different birds. The staff were knowledgeable and shared what they could with us and there was room to ask lots... 更多
Went there on a Sunday and it was just my wife and another 2 people. Had lots of fun as we were in a pen with a deer roaming among us who was very friendly, Bob, and took some lovely photos with him. Then we were allowed to hold 4 different birds and walk around with them. lovely expereince and... 更多
