This was the first time I'd been back to Aberdeenshire in 17 years. I used to visit with my family when I was younger and we would visit Bennachie. My mother is from Kemnay so there was always a good view of the hill from there and I loved it as a kid. I drove from Old Meldrum where I... 更多
We recently claimed Bennachie, the walk was steep but exhilarating and took us around 2 and a half hours to the top and back down. Worrying news we heard on our... 更多
There are several walks graded according to ability and time to complete. It is a climb to the top of the hills but there are enough areas lower down for the not so fit. The scenery is beautiful and it is a wonderful way to spend some time.
