Having heard of St Columba, and his Journey to Iona, I was interested to visit here, while sightseeing in the city. a very short distance from the city walls, so very easy to build into an afternoons sight seeing walk, worth a visit

One of the oldest religious sites in Derry. Beautiful church, as pretty as most cathedrals inside. Good exhibits about St Columba's founding of the city.
Although the church is small, the interior and especially the altar are beautiful and worth a visit. Look for crucifix in an unusual position: in the choir loft area.
