This is one of the best courses in the world. It is lovely, great fun to play, and a very challenging course. We would return in a heartbeat. We had a wonderful time, I would recommend a forecaddy to help you if you have not payed this course befor.
Whether you are a low handicapper, or just love the game and can get around a track without embarrassing yourself, DO NOT COME TO IRELAND WITHOUT PLAYING THIS COURSE!! it's visually outstanding, the golf is challenging, and the caddies (you can only walk this course) are a wealth of knowledge and insight and the surrounding town is an absolute joy!
Having the opportunity to golf at the number one club in the world was an amazing experience. I had rental clubs and my game was not great but what do you expect... My group had caddies for each of them except me. I pulled my clubs and the caddies occasionally helped me, most of the time I was on the... 更多
Not enough to be able to play this gem of a course but to do so on a sunny, warm, only mildly windy day in summer was absolutely perfect. Ocean on the right, mountains behind, and the rest is countryside greets you from the first tee, along with sand, gorse, dunes, green fairways, and some blind tee shots where you... 更多
Playing this golf course is to treated as one of life's experiences. Caddies are a must especially for first timers. We can recommend Michael and John Junior who were absolutely fantastic helping us on handicaps on 16 and 21 and were so spot on with reading the greens, not to mention being just delightful blokes. We were very fortunate with... 更多
Wow, I got to play the number 1 rated course in the world twice! Royal County Down is indeed a special place, but the best in the world? A few negatives: No driving range; you hit into nets. And they only have 4. We were told a range in under construction but I have no idea where they would put... 更多
This is the top rated course in Europe, and one of the worldwide top 10. Be sure to book "senior" caddies, and you're sure to have a wonderful experience.
Did not disappoint from entering the gates. I knew I was in for something special but even my expectations were surpassed. Never played a links course so manicured and so much attention to detail. Walks between holes were even delightful. Memorable holes were many and the scenery was just spectacular in places. Tough track though as it should be and... 更多
First the setting for this course is breathtaking. Built along side the North Sea. With the mountains to the south. The Slieve Donard hotel framed by the mountains. This is one of the special places on earth! The drive to get here is a wild, winding, crazy two-laned road that makes you question if you've made a mistake getting so... 更多
I've played 6 Open courses so far around the UK, BUT, RCD has to be the #1 course in the UK. Beautiful and tougher than anything, including a very windy Carnoustie and rock hard Hoylake! Played with a Member - hit my approach to the first, straight at the flag, only to hear him say " you might want to... 更多
