There are multiple churches in the village of Armagh so make sure to plan on which ones you are planning to see. St. Patrick's Cathedral - Church of Ireland is this building (there is also a St. Patrick's - Roman Catholic Cathedral as well). There is a fee to get in - which I must admit took me by surprise... 更多
This ancient cathedral is definitely worth a visit. It is on the sight of the "great stone church" built by St. Patrick atop one of the most historic hills in Ireland and dates to the dark ages. This is a beautiful building of the traditional Victorian Anglican sort. Lovely setting with a grassy orchard to one side. Very interesting history.

The Protestant St Patrick's. Nicely done as well. Good climb to the top of the hill and close to the library as well. Do the library first as it closes at 4PM

North Aisle?East Window. the five windows in the North Aiisle depict events in the life of or Lord - Birth, Baptism,... 更多
Often seen as the lesser of the two Cathedrals in Armagh. It's fair to say it would not be as impressive structurally or indeed as lavish. Non the less it has its own history to tell and is very interesting. The guide holds a vast knowledge of the Cathedral and is easy listening, retains the visitors attention with his interesting... 更多
