This park has different things for families, couples and solos. Big greens to walk the dogs along with playpark for kids, plus there's usually an icecream van there. Beautiful on a sunny day. Also has a lovely flower garden.
Travelled here today for a picnic with my 4 year old. Didn't realise the rose festival was on, but parking was ample, and well organised, even for the hundreds that were there. Big open spaces that can get quite muddy. Popular with dog walkers and those who like roses as it hosts an annual Rose Trials event. Not much to do except a children's playground apart from walk. Small cafe on site
Anyone visiting around Belfast this week should visit the park and view the display of roses during the international trails The display of Roses is stunning and there are lots of activities for the whole family.
