A small castle, easy to get round with stunning views over the saltmarsh. (The local farmer sells saltmarsh lamb). Ruins are easy to explore. There is parking at the site. Strategically placed seats give the opportunity to relax.
A little off the beaten track for sure! 700 year old castle with plenty of history (decaying since 1666), only a few pounds entry fee and plenty to look at and touch.
