What more to say: one of the most beautiful beaches of the UK. a long sandy beach not only to relax but also to interesting boat trips along the stunning Gower Coast. Nearby the little church with origins from the 6th century, dedicated to St. Illtyd, a scholar who founded here the first Christian academia in Wales. A sacred well... 更多
This beach is so clean and dog-free that I wish I lived there! We visited after we found it by chance. It wasn't signposted, and no wonder because it is idyllic and I'm sure the locals prefer it that way. The sand is fine and clean and the water is clear and warm - perfect!!!
Right on the beach. Good parking. Lots of outdoor tables. Good snacks and lunches. Dinner menu is good. Service not always so good. But overall a great venue in a stunning location with wonderful walks on beach and in woods and dunes. Fab for wild flowers in spring and summer.
If your looking for a quiet beach then this is a good one, beautiful views of the coast and more sand than rocks or pebbles. An amazing sandy beach miles of it to walk along, clean as it can be to walk this area is relaxing and beautifull, during the day there is a tea and ice cream hut on the beach and the oxwitch bay hotel is to the one side of it. The hotel has provided wooden benches and seats where you can... 更多
One of many amazing beaches in the Gower. Easy to locate with a large car park and on site facilities such as toilets and a cafe. The beach itself is gorgeous and very big and the sea is very clear. When I was here with my girlfriend we saw more than 50 beached jellyfish but they were a harmless species.
We walked along oxwich bay from Nicholston campsite a beautiful walk down through the tree,s and sand dunes and around the bay stopped of at oxwich bay hotel for a quick drink before heading back a bit wet & windy but all in all a great walk
