This was quite an interesting place, walking/crouching through the old mine tunnels to listen to commentary about the history of the place, with some visual scenes to go with it. I really enjoyed it, as I had not been anywhere like it previously. It wasn't ridiculously priced either. There is also an excellent walk along the river and lake, if... 更多
We wasnt sure what to do for the afternoon so we found a leaflet and went. It was quite cheap, the man was very helpful. It is a self tour around the mine so you can do it as slow or as quickly as you want. Inside is freezing and very slippy as i did fall in a puddle of... 更多
It was raining the day we visited this attraction, and we thought this would be a tour in the dry. The weather had been fine for a full week before our visit, but the mine was still dripping enough for water to be flowing out of the mine alongside the entrance tunnel path. This is a self guided tour with... 更多
This is a self guided tour through old copper workings which closed in 1903. Several commentary points on the way bring it all alive. The route through the mountain is narrow, low and wet - so an authentic experience. There are also 186 stairs. All easily managed by my 93 year old (very fit) Dad. The surrounding scenery is beautiful.... 更多
Cheap self guided tour means your not rushed round whats actually a decent sized mine to look at. Staff were very friendly, and there was more than enough to look at to kill a couple of hours. Kids would love the panning for gold or metal detecting going on.
We visited here on a lovely sunny day. The entry prices are quite expensive for the size of the mine. There is also a small charge for paying on card. They provide and enforce hard hats to be taken and worn in the mine itself. Once you exit the mine you are greeted with a fantastic view. It's definitely a... 更多
It was great fun exploring the copper mine. Lots of information, really interesting and some great things to see! If you're tall like me you'll need to duck a lot and there's quite a walk up flights of stairs but it's all part of the fun!
Nice little place to visit if its raining as its underground, also lots of walking if the weather is better. Chap who took our money was lovely, little cafe seemed average more quick bite (sausage rolls, crisps) than anything else. Quite a few steps which can get slippery in the rain, plenty of room so not tripping over other people... 更多
Visited the copper mine as it looked interesting on a drive through snowdonia, we were the only people there apart from the owners. Upon arrival the guy behind the reception was not very welcoming, we paid the money (very pricey for what it is) and was given a hard hat and a laminated piece of paper with a couple of... 更多
The whole walk trip is around 45 minutes. You receive a protective hard hat. No guided tours nor audio guides. When you get inside of the mine and overcome the claustrophobic shock, you make your way inside and have to reach interest points where by pressing a button you listen dialogues and descriptive narratives. There are 180 stairs inside the... 更多
