It's quite hard to imagine this being the way into and out of Conwy until quite recent times. With the advent of the 'new' road bridge this was put out as an attraction, having been refurbished, read the story in the gate house, phew!
I recommend a visit to Conwy Castle is made via this bridge; there is so much to see and the castle soars above you as you get closer preparing you for the excitement of final entry. However do not forget to look at the bridge and take time to examine the rail bridge alongside listening for the trains rattling through,... 更多
This imposing bridge has company with a new road bridge to one side and a railway bridge on the other. Crossing Telford's original is now by foot only.
Suggest seeing the bridge before going to the Castle and walking the walls. A very interesting bridge and you also get a good view of the 3 bridges from the castle.
If you are visiting the Castle and/or walking the Walls , go around the castle and have a look at this Suspension Bridge . The access is free and the views of the castle and the river are nice !
This bridge is located between two larger bridges, one for cars and the other for the train. Depending on how you approach it, finding the entrance can be a bit tricky, but its sort of behind the castle. It makes for nice pictures, and there is a guard house to explore for 1.50GBP (unless you are a national trust member,... 更多

As a civil engineer with an interest in bridges, I loved the wrought iron pinned... 更多
A Very nice bridge that takes just a few minutes to walk through, I wouldn't plan a trip around visiting here unless you are already in the area.
