Been there a couple of times in the last month, it is only a 10minute walk from where we live. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, has a really good time, service was a million times better than previous visits.
We really enjoyed our little walk around Ray Mill Island but were fortunate because we had parked to have brunch at Boulters Restaurant and asked if we could keep our car there while we went to the Island, which they said was fine. A lovely walk across the bridge over the lock and onto the island.Here there is a snack cafe with seating outside.There are assorted water features with bronze statues, a children's playground and delightful views over the Thames, including a dramatic weir. We parked in a free car park a mile down the river and walked up to Ray Mill Island. It's a really lovely mixture of things, an aviary (!) statues and coffee shop. Really perfect for a family picnic or chill out space. Well return, with friends!
This whole area harks back to the famous book "Three Men in A Boat". The river is stunning going over the wier. A good couple of hours entertainment can be had watching the boats go through the lock
