I am so glad I chose to visit Mompesson House. I came on a quiet Sunday morning. A small, charming and elegant house. Lovely walled garden to play croquet on. The volunteer staff couldn't be more friendly.
We stumbled on this National Trust townhouse as we were visiting the cathedral as it is situated in the close right next to it. It has an impressive exterior and staff welcome you in. For a large house you seem to visit just a few rooms - a dining room, 2 sitting rooms, 2 bedrooms a library and an exhibition.... 更多
A lovely house to visit. It's so nice that it would be great if you could live in it even though it's so old. All staff are very friendly. The tea rooms are worth a visit.
We visited under our National Trust membership in Australia and it was recognised. Great exhibition with excellent commentary from the volunteer guides. Very interesting visit.
A house you could live in quite happily - very interesting and staff very informative and really added to the quality of the visit. National Trust property
One of the smaller NT Houses. I visited with my husband on 28th July 2016, we were quite put off our visit by the attitude of the staff. Not at all welcoming. One member of staff in particular all I heard her say to every one who entered her room was "Don't touch, don't touch". My goodness people who visit... 更多

Although the house is lovely and very interestimg there are only a few rooms to look around and had it not been a sunny day which... 更多
We so enjoyed our visit to yet another lovely NT property. Very nice welcome at the door. Beautiful garden. Loved the house. Felt the little tearoom was just right. Maybe add one more toilet!!!!There was always a queue.
After walking through the busy streets of Salisbury this is a tranquil haven. The house is small by NT standards but there's still quite a bit to see. The garden is really pretty and the cafe is tucked away in the corner. There are some games for children to play on the lawn too. It all feels very relaxing.
Hello, This is a smaller NT property situated close to the Cathedral. It proved to be reasonably interesting and had a very nice rear garden. Fortunately I am a member, because I felt that the entry fee was a bit on the high side relative to the size of the property
