The home of Yorkshire Cricket is in the Leeds suburb of Headingley. The ground itself is about to undergo a period of redevelopment. The current facilities are good, but when the new stand is built, should be first rate. The only downside is that parking is not very good, and the roads become jammed after any type of event.
Easy to collect tickets, order tickets online for home delivery or purchase them on the gate. Plenty of seating and you feel very close to the action. Nice selection of food trucks and very friendly, knowledgable staff.
Access was easy for the Friday night 20/20 game we went to watch. Seats are comfy and the view good. No bother while we were there. Plenty of exits so it never feels that crowed.
Always fancied going to a proffessional cricket match so me and my son visited Headingley for a T20 match between Yorkshire Vikings and Durham Jets. I bought tickets in advance £18 & £10 respectively, with a small early bird discount. Though you could purchase tickets on the day. There was plenty of off street parking close by that we used.... 更多
Attending an evening T20 match - plenty of food and drink available. Good stewarding. Good facilities. Great atmosphere. Worth a visit - even if you are not a confirmed cricket fan.
We recently visited here on a stag do. It was great but I was led to believe we were to be in an executive box for the night. However, when we got there, it appears that the East Stand must be used as a hotel when there is no cricket on, as the 'executive box' was little more than a... 更多
An enjoyable visit to watch Yorkshire play Worcestershire. The ground is fairly easy to get to by train, get off at Burley Park and it's a 10-15min walk. Tickets can be purchased at the ground or on-line. Allocated seating was not applicable for this game. Food and drink stands are on site throughout the match.
We went here for the first time for the opening day of the England vs Sri Lanka Test. What a fab day out! We had a great time, and found it really fun and friendly. The crowd were just excellent, fun, and made our day, as did the Yorkshire Tea Band with the crowd singing along at tea! Great stuff.
recently visited for test match v Sri Lanka, seated at east side of ground under scoreboard, had a very good view plus a great atmosphere generated by the crowd, easy access to bars and other facilities plus stewards were very helpful,a pint of lager/beer was reasonably priced and so was the food, easy train link from Leeds station, would recommend a day there to any... 更多
Although I live some 200 miles away, as a born and bred Yorkshireman this is my spiritual home and where I visit 5 or 6 times in the summer season. Because I am not a native of Leeds, transport to and from the stadium are important as it is located about three miles from the city centre. If coming by... 更多
