Great fun and pleasure to enjoy music inside that beautiful Cathedral... and music lovers even bring their pic-nic to eat just before the start of the concert...
This cathedral looks great and by visiting and walking around you learn a lot about it as it gives you an insight into the history. If you decide to visit, make sure you have the time to go around because it takes between one and two hours to visit.
Worth a visit. Lots of little areas to explore with a little cafe to the rear of the cathedral. Things to buy inside and you can light a candle in the rear of the cathedral.
Having been to a number of Cathedral, this one is very well kept and it's good to see restoration continues. For over 300 years this site has clearly been the focal point of the town. A must do if you have an hour or two to spare.
It's beautiful, cultural and inspiring. Find the time to stop and stare, stop rushing about and value what you already have. If you are lucky an orchestra will be practising in the afternoon. Having drunk in the peace and history visit the restaurant and enjoy a good and affordable meal.
It is a place of quiet tranquillity and some beautiful architecture, lovely stained glass and some very nice grounds to wander around. There is a huge amount of history and every nook and cranny is worth investigating. Top Tip if you are taking children with you get them to look for the carved mice!!
