Chichester Festival Theatre nearly always comes up drums, but this performance was exceptional. The comedy of Beatrice and Benedict was superb and the slap-stick performances by Dogberry and his gang was hilarious. I recommend anyone to get a ticket. I'm now really looking forward to seeing Love's Labours Lost in a couple of weeks time.
Great performance of "Much ado about Nothing". Amazing how Shakespeare seems to fit all times. This set at the time of the First World War with overtones of modern day. We have been to this venue many many times and have always enjoyed the events. A great variety of plays and performances but always some things are the same: high levels of professionalism, friendly staff, and time well spent.
This theatre has some fabulous productions with an intimate feel. The views from all of the seats are really good, the parking is also excellent with the main Chichester car park being next door.
A vist to the Festival Theatre is never disappointing for me! Set in lovely parkland, this iconic hexagon shaped stage allows excellent interaction with whatever production is being staged. We enjoyed our meal here, which they managed to slot in during the hour before the show started. You can have one, two or three courses if you have more time than we did. They were so busy we had to sit outside, under the parasols to get out of the rain, but this was actually fine as it meant... 更多
Went to see a biographical play by Terence Rattigan on the life of T E Lawrence. The cast and staging were outstanding. Was the first time in the theatre since its recent renovations. The lighting, seating and hospitality areas are spacious and relaxed. The best part of this theatre is the almost "theatre in the round" experience. The audience feels... 更多
My lovely sister arranged for us to see Half sixpence recently , and whilst the booking office told my sister no better seats were available & ours were side on , we thought we'd miss out on part of the show , but credit to the performers, they used all of the stage, so we actually had pretty good seats.... 更多
