After extensive refurbishment both theatres are now mostly at full capacity for all productions. Recent productions are more varied and are appealing to a wider audience. Check programme and book asap. Wider range of eats/drinks before and after shows also now available.
I have been to the festival theatre many times and seen many good productions but this was a real gem.Despite torrential rain and the caprices of southern rail trains we managed to theatre on time. Rattigan's Ross is a fascinating study of Laurence of Arabia and the impact of his experiences on his life after the first world war. I... 更多
Have had a busy few months at plays both in the main theatre and the Minerva! Recently been to see First Light, Ross and Enemy of the People. All productions at a very high standard and no matter where you sit in either venue, you will be part of an intimate experience. Where else could you be a few yards... 更多
Visited Chichester festival theatre and thoroughly enjoyed my evening. The production was great ( Ross) I was sat to the back in the corner and I still had a good view all around the stage. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The only thing I would say is there isn't a lot of seating in the bar/cafe area and... 更多
Love this Theatre go at least 3 times a year depending what's on . you get a good view wherever you sit and can always hear well, my only fault is not all of the seats are not comfortable, if you get a wall in front of you there is no leg room, on one occasion I had to leave... 更多
I have taken my children to the festival theatre many times now and we are never disapointed. Last year I was in a wheelchair and the staff were extremely helpful. Refreshments are a little on the expensive side but you cannot have it all, everything here is worth the money. The shows are amazing!
Very briefly, a quick review of newly furbished restaurant at the Minerva. Yes, great location right inside the theatre offering a pre-production meal and an excellent way to start the evening with the usual polished entertainment on offer. Quality and service fine, no complaints there, but value for money? No! Two people and 55 quid for two courses and one... 更多
I love this place, and go a couple times every year. However, this year the niggles are beginning to accumulate. The parking is, as ever, a nightmare, but I suppose there's nothing they can do about that - as we live 40 miles away, we have to drive, and we always have to allow lots of extra time for trying... 更多
The theatre has been well-refurbished, and seating and sight lines are excellent. I saw a wonderful production of Ibsen's Enemy of the People, with performances and overall staging and costumes worth a top grade. Food in the cafe was acceptable, and I appreciated the overall roominess of the layout. However, I attended a weekday matinee performance and the parking situation... 更多
Thank you for your review of Chichester Festival Theatre. We are pleased you enjoyed the performance but sorry to hear... 更多
The usual high standard of performance and production. One observation, and a new experience for me, the first time in my life that I have had to queue for the gents.
Thank you for leaving a review for Chichester Festival Theatre. We do our best with our toilet facilities, indeed we... 更多
