I walked around this area whilst making my way from work and calling for some food. There seemed to be a wide range of shops and stalls offering many different things. The place seemed quite busy so is obviously a popular choice amongst locals.
Plenty of character, with a new buzz from peoples from the four corners of the earth. You'll find everything from basics to exotics and you will learn something new from the traders and other customers - yes people talk to each other here - don't be shy - join in.

One of the biggest indoor markets I have ever visited in England. So much to look at & reasonably priced, didn't know which stall to look at first, lost my friend in there.
It is a reto post war building with quite some character. It is also.a typical market with the usual blend of stores selling tar and fruit and veg along with some real gems like the vinyl records stall. Worth a look.
Typical indoor market. Noisy and bustling. I went to try and locate some fabrics. I succeeded in my mission with a very friendly and helpful lady. I will definitely be revisiting! Much variety in the market but also much tat and cheap nasty stuff. Be select. Stall holders that I dealt with were friendly and engaging with customers.
