The Harvard House spreads its exhibits over the three floors of the old building and seems to be aimed more at children or teenagers. It has several hands-on interactive exhibits and little note cards telling of customs of the olden days. It's quite interesting, but nothing much to rave about. It's part of the three-houses ticket of the Shakespeare houses,... 更多
We visited here as part of our attraction ticket. It's very small and doesn't take long to look around but we liked it and the architecture is very interesting.
If it were not owned by the influential Harvard University, perhaps this house would have been demolished long ago. It was the house where one of the early benefactors of Harvard University lived. This is great and very educational for all ages. One ticket gets you into several of Shakespears attractions. Spent a nice hour looking around this interesting old place
Nice to read about the UK connection to Harvard University in my home country. Small house, nice to continue to understand the history of the time. Quiet visit, only a few couples there during my friend's and my visit.
There was a strong American theme here and for a good reason. Lots of helpful information from staff and very friendly. The home of the Harvard university founder. Definitely worth a visit for all the USA tourists.
We were glad we had the opportunity to learn more about the Harvard House and where the name begun. The house was really something to experience. We learned a lot and would recommend the attraction. Buy a multi house ticket to save money.
Not much to learn about here other than wander through a lovely old house. It's part of the cluster of offerings and you get a ticket in with the birthplace group. If you need to skip because of time it is not a great loss.
