Great walks, beautiful scenery and a pleasant little cafe at the top of the hill that serves a decent cuppa and a sandwich. We walk here frequently and so enjoy the peace and beauty of the place. If you're visiting the Surrey Hills, do make time to come here.
Lovely view of so many places. Think it was £2 to climb up the tower which isn't bad at all. Not the biggest tower but it has a fairly extensive history which you can learn on your way up. A few telescopes as well, could see the planes taking off at Gatwick!
A short steep climb from car park but our 4 year old did it easily. Went up the tower which is free for national trust members and the view is amazing. Been here many times. Lots of families, couples, dog walkers. Two ways of climbing and two car parks available - one a harder climb and one an easier climb. Lots of friendly walkers and a national trust tea shop at the top where you can climb to the top of the tower. Fantastic views and glorious on a sunny day.
Another fun climb with the option to climb the tower (for a small fee) at the top,. A small tea kiosk is built into the bottom of the tower that is open at weekends but not sure whether it is open during the week. Quicte a steep climb.
Easy upward walk to the top, where you will see a 360 view of the surrounding area and the area surrounding that too! Absolutely beautiful, a special spot in Surrey for sure! Fireworks night was good fun (although foggy haha) but bonfire was huge and up there it feels very special and again what a view! Nice and clean, the... 更多
