We have visited this place twice now and both times we have experienced rude staff in the factory outlet and the café, why is the customer service so poor? A simple smile doesn't cost anything! People spend good money here the least the staff could do is look grateful. We expected the seconds to be cheaper, hardly a "bargain".
This is our second group tour to the factory combining factory tour, lunch and decorating in the studio. This is also the second time we have arrived on time and as booked to be told we were not expected and there was barely room for us. Jan tried to make our tour manager feel very awkward in front of her... 更多
What a brilliant experience and would definitely thoroughly recommend! Took my two grown up daughters and my sister here for a belated Xmas present.....and we were not disappointed! From the moment we got there, Paul from the decorating studio took us under his very capable 'wing' for the experience day and really took care of us - he really was... 更多
Visiting in a group of 5, we managed to arrive with no pre-booking and get on to the next tour, which was really good and informative. The whole process is shown with some demonstrations from the employees and it's great for adults and children alike. We ate in the cafe at lunch and the food and tea was lovely however... 更多
I visited the Emma Bridgewater factory tour last Friday, purchasing one of their experience days. For the reasonable sum of £30.00 each we were able to go on the factory tour, practise our skills in the painting studio and indulge in an afternoon tea in the cafe. We arrived a little late for our tour due to traffic but the... 更多
As huge Emma Bridgewater fans, a friend and I decided to make the drive from Hertfordshire up to Stoke-On-Trent to visit the factory. We arrived just before lunch and had a quick look around before deciding to have something to eat. We had the afternoon tea for two which was so lovely! Incredibly fresh and brilliant quality... We then went... 更多
Just got back from taking youngest Granddaughter to a Pottery Party. What a fabulous place this is.The children made a plate, very well organised and supervised. We visited the cafe with the eldest and had a lovely cup of tea and tea cake.Reasonably priced, friendly service. The party food was good and in the middle of the table was a large plate of lovely decorated... 更多
Have been twice now to the decorating studio. Really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and had great fun both times. Nice staff and a good activity for all ages! Would recommend!
The tour of the factory was very interesting, explaining every process. Photos allowed. A shop and a seconds shop on site. The cost of the tour was deducted from any purchase in the shop and at £2.50 per person was more than excellent value.
Great way to spend a few hours, a huge choice of items to paint, sponges and colours, and the results make great presents! The hot chocolate is yummy too.....
I had visited the pottery previously and had a fabulous time painting my own mug. So I thought it would be the perfect birthday surprise for my sister in law who loves Emma Bridgewater pottery. We both has a fantastic time designing and painting our mugs, and the staff were very helpful. we then had lunch which was included in... 更多
Went to paint pottery with two adults and two children - staff very rude, abrupt and unhelpful and I would not visit again and would not recommend this place to visit with families or children.
We went for Mothers Day, and it was very busy, but we still had a very personal experience with the pottery staff. We spent the day painting pottery, followed by an amazing afternoon tea and finally in both the shops on site. Will definitely return again soon!
If you are a fan then you will absolutely love it! £2.50 for a tour of the factory and if you spend over £12.50 in the shop you get that back! How much more reasonable can you get! The tour itself was fascinating, the stages, the processes and the patience that goes into each piece is wonderful and Julie our... 更多
