Unique landmark. Impressive sight with far reaching views across Somerset all round. There are 2 routes to the top, both with concrete paths and steps. We enjoyed great views of 360 degrees; it took a bit of strength to get to the top but we all made it and were very proud of ourselves.

This was our third visit to the Tor. The walk up to the top is exhausting but is a must for the fabulous views. There is also a great feeling of serenity. It is well worth the climb to the top of Glastonbury Tor. If nothing else you will see amazing views over the Somerset levels and surrounding hills. You might also appreciate the spiritual significance of this very special place.
On our recent visit to Glastonbury we just had to go up the Tor, and hopped on the mini bus in the town that dropped us right by the entrance, the fairly steep walk up was well worth the effort for the stunning views, as kind elderly gentleman lent us his binoculars and pointed out area's of interest on top... 更多
