Beautiful old quads house student accommodation. The converted church at the end of Turl Street is the college library. Delightful!
Lincoln College, Oxford FREE open between 2pm and 4.30 pm, small groups only. The image is the college's library which is in the church https://youtu.be/FbIbJe_itUM The college library stays open until 2am, however this is for students only. The college has three quads, beautiful gardens and the buildings are two stories high, covered in vergina creeper. Lots of history at... 更多
Visited Lincoln College in Oxford as this is my sons preferred college in which to study. Its one of the smallest colleges in the city but also one of the most beautiful, quaint quads and wonderful architecture, just a great place to live and study

This is an attractive college with great charm. The library is housed in an old church and is wonderful and the chapel is small but lovely.
Visited here during Oxford Open Doors weekend. Two lovely small atmospheric quads with pristine grass and a map exhibition. I was also able to go in the chapel, panelled hall and the library (which is down the road). If the college is open it is certainly worth going in especially as it is one of the smaller colleges.
Always lovely to visit the quiet quads of Lincoln College, if you get chance to visit the Library or Chapel just soak up the atmosphere. Evensong in the Chapel is beautiful.

There's a film or TV crew on the Turl at least once a week, because the lanes that surround it are, along with the exterior of the college, among the quaintest in Oxford. The rooms are each extremely different from each other. The suite... 更多
