Went to the Friday evening meeting which had Kaiser Chiefs playing after the races (Tom Jones last year and Corrs on the Saturday). Lovely racecourse with a good selection of bars and food outlets. Ate in the Voltiguer Restaurant which has a lovely view of the race course with exclusive balcony. Great Buffet selection and quality. The staff are a... 更多
We have visited the race course a number of times now and each time book the Melrose Club lounge. This is perfect if you want good food, a seat and waiter service for drinks. The rest of the race course seems to get extremely busy and crowded, and unfortunately on this visit a number of hen parties were in the... 更多

Visited York racecourse on 23rd July along with my wife, sister and mother to enjoy a day's racing followed by The Corrs in concert. The racecourse has excellent facilities, plenty of bars and food tents (although i did find the prices rather expensive, with bitter selling for £4.20 a pint). There were plenty of stewards and first aiders on hand... 更多
What a disappointment. Expect hoards of people, endless, loud, very drunk hen parties and nowhere to sit. Empty cans and broken plastic glasses everywhere. Bought champagne and the only STANDING space to drink it was outside the toilets......nice. Awful experience, I will never go back.
