We went for a walk here with our baby daughter and some friends with small children. It was lovely. Big open areas of grass, a pretty remote control boating lake, beautiful buildings, lovely cafe and fantastic play area. It also has a mini golf area which looked good fun! Looking forward to going back again!
It is so nice to have just the green space walking distance from home and Earlham park is just that. A wonderfully maintained park situated next to the UEA campus and is ideal for a picnic spot or if you feel like going on a run. Lovely place to walk the dog. Also the river wensum runs through it so you can paddle swim whatever. It's a lovely place for wildlife too. Otters, kingfisher , grass snakes plus loads of birds. There is also a nice little cafe that does hot food and drink. Beautiful
You can park for free on earlham road next to the church and cross the road to enter via a gate. We take our dog here every weekend. Unfortunately many people don't clear up after their dogs which is sad. There is a great river which is great for teaching your puppy to swim. The cafe has great breakfasts, tea... 更多
Another of my childhood haunts and very little has changed over the past 50 years, the river with its shallow flat basin for paddling your feed on a hot summers day, the rolling green grass and open spaces, just recently there has been some BBC concerts in the park which were very successful.
Beautiful park in the west of Norwich, forming part of the UEA grounds. River runs through and the shallow area in the north of the park provides a great family splash area for hot summers days. great place to wonder around in you may even see an otter. in the river but it can get muddy on some of the paths in winter so tak some boots their is a great dog friendly cafe their as well
lots of open space, to run walk, play ball. river at the bottom which you and dogs can go into. main car park cost, but there is a layby by the church which is free for 2 hours. can walk down into the woodlands, leads to the uea lake, and the training grounds
