A great little theatre which has 2 stages and both put on great productions. There is a bar and a café and plenty of places to sit and drink. Its very close to Swiss Cottage Tube station

Emilia Fox was as always lovely and her young lover had a great body but struggled with his clarity and volume.The play made points but didn't expand on them. A great set-up both downstairs and in the main space.Lovely fresh salad & quiche.
I took the tube from central London going north, got off at Swiss Cottage Station and around the corner, just a few steps away, was the Hampstead Theatre. It's some time since we last visited Hampstead Theatre and our visit this time reminded us how pleasant the building - the stalls have good ,comfy seats and excellent views of the stage . When I used to go to school in Swiss Cottage in the 1960s, the theatre occupied a very temporary looking hut. This remained standing and in use until 2003, when a lovely, interestingly designed new theatre replaced it. Almost every seat in the auditorium has good sightlines.
