It is a lovely, scenic stroll from Westminster to Blackfriars with nice view and great atmosphere, especially in the evening. There are numerous monuments to see along the way, a great park to have a rest and various street performers for fun...
I walked along Victoria Embankment to get from Westminster to Blackfriars and enjoys it as there was so much to see along the way. It's only a twenty minute walk too and so much better than using the tube.
I agree that it's a beautiful place to stroll during the daytime, but for me, I've always loved walking the Embankment area at dusk into the early evening. The buskers are out and interesting music fills the air. The lights are starting to come on, illuminating the Eye and Big Ben. Best time for photographs! If you can catch one... 更多
Last week while in London, and after lunch with a friend at The Strand, I walked along The Victoria Embankment. A lovely and scenic stroll in perfect weather along a tree lined walkway on the North Bank of the River Thames. Excellent views of the London skyline, The London Eye, The South Bank Centre, the busy river traffic, etc and... 更多
This is a lovely tree-lined walk along the Thames with great views of the London skyline and some interesting attractions to see (i.e. Cleopatra's Needle and the Sphinx). It is a great place for pictures and to get away from the crowds of the main tourist attractions. There is also an old blue Police Public Call Post/Box along the way... 更多
This is a good place for a stroll along a tree-lined street that boarders the Thames River. There are interesting sites along the way including statues, boat docks, restaurants, bridges, and gardens. You can also view the London Eye and the buildings across the river. In addition, we came to a facility that boasted "award winning" toilets.
The Victoria embankment runs along the River Thames between the Golden Jubilee bridges and the Westminster bridge. Its is tree lined and pleasant. The park on the other side of the road from the river is a great place to walk and enjoy the greenery. there are many nice statues to appreciate.
This is the perfect place to take a long walk, had to get a little bit of exercise as well. There's a lot to see here lots of skyline, and statues, as well as some really old artifacts. It's a place that you want to come back to get them again as walking around London.
We enjoyed walking the street at the Victoria embankment. There were several parks right off of the street which we enjoyed walking through. If the weather is nice you have a nice view of the river the London Eye and many other features and landmarks in London. There's also a small Cafe nearby.
