I would recommend this as a great walk just breathing in London itself - and I mean the atmosphere and the sights and sounds
This area appeared to be really clean and well kept in addition to seeing the great architecture all around you - definitely give this a try if you are in the area
You can Walk along here and get great views of the city and take some great photographs as well as seeing such interesting sites along your way such as Cleopatras needle and just the ironwork of the lights etc
You can walk along the embankment almost from London Bridge right up to Westminster. Enjoy the views onto and across the River Thames. Take in the monuments along the way e.g. Cleopatra's Needle. Walk under the bridges. All very nice and equally attractive at night.
the hustle and bustle is always on the south bank, so many miss a trick of not walking over one of the bridges...maybe not from tower bridge, if ur u good at power-walking...but people-watching from the north is amazing...and you get to see the amazing belly of blackfriars...up close and personal with cleopatra and a few river boats too...the pavement...
We started our walk from Parliament House to Victoria Embankment. It was a sunny afternoon and the view of London Eye was a perfect background for our pictures. We kept on walking till Cleopatra's Needle.
